Collection: True Love

To celebrate love, the Maison Daum launched True Love last January. The inspiration is drawn from the celebrated “Le mur des je t’aime”, Wall of Love in Paris, created by calligraphist Frédéric Baron and mural artist Claire Kito. Written 311 times in 250 languages, the words “I love you” is written and exposed for the world to witness, and is engraved into the hearts of the romantic souls.

The form of this piece is a reference to the power of one’s love as it gradually becomes larger, while the stratum-like dashed lines, a specific texture of True Love, evoke the accumulation of one’s love over time. The rounded letters designed in capitals are linked to one another as if demonstrating an everlasting bond. This decorative object, carrying the universal symbol and message, is the perfect gift to share with your loved to honour love. 

For this new collection, Daum declines True Love in two new colours: Blue and Ultraviolet - revealing an ever-changing crystal colour of pink-purple to sky blue according to the light.
